We had an absolutely fantastic time fishing with Captain Eugene at Pacific Odyssey in Pacific City, Oregon! Our group included my parents, my wife, our 12-year-old son, and me, and it was an experience our whole family will remember. Taking the dory boat out on the ocean was an adventure in itself, and Captain Eugene did a great job making the trip enjoyable for everyone. We had a great day on the water and caught almost our limit of lincod and sea bass! It was especially exciting to see our 12-year-old son enjoying the experience and being part of the action. Captain Eugene was great to fish with, and we really appreciated his knowledge, professionalism, and effort in making the trip such a success. The combination of the beautiful Oregon coast and the fun fishing made for an unforgettable family outing. We highly recommend Pacific Odyssey and Captain Eugene to anyone looking for a great fishing adventure in Pacific City.

If you’re looking for something fun to do this is it. We wanted to have some fun for memorial weekend. First it was easy to book and had great communication with Eugene. Fresh crab and fish what a trip first the captain of the boat was great and easy going nothing seemed to bother him and his wife Tammy was just as great. They put us on the fish right away. We limited out on salmon and sea bass before noon we even caught several lingcod. Then off to pull the crab pots Best no hassle trip we have ever had. Thanks Eugene and Tammy can’t wait to come back

Trip - Oregon Coast Fishing with a Side of Dungeness Crab on August 9, 2026

My son and I had a great day of fishing for salmon (limits) and rockfish and crab (limits). Our guide Gordon was great and worked very hard to make sure we had a good trip. We spent most of the morning catching silver salmon and one king. The crab pots were full and we had limits for everyone in the boat. I would recommend going with Pacific Odyssey Dory Charters.
