We keep our groups small - just six guests max - so you'll get plenty of one-on-one time with the crew. They'll walk you through every step, from baiting the pots to identifying your catch. And the best part? We'll clean your crabs right on board, so they're ready to hit the pot as soon as you get home.

Crabbing 101

If you've never been crabbing before, don't sweat it. We'll start by showing you how to bait the pots - usually with fish carcasses or chicken. Then we'll drop them overboard and let them soak while we cruise to our next spot. After about 20-30 minutes, it's time for the real action. We'll haul the pots back up using a hydraulic puller (trust me, your back will thank us). Then comes the fun part - sorting through your catch! We'll teach you how to tell males from females, measure for size, and identify the different species. Dungeness crabs are the prize catch, but we often pull up some tasty red rock crabs too. All the gear and bait is included, so you just need to bring your enthusiasm and maybe a cooler for the ride home.
